Thiago Motta has been officially appointed as the new head coach of Juventus, the club announced. Motta, 41, has signed a contract with the “Bianconeri” until the summer of 2027. He arrives at Allianz Stadium from Bologna, where he remarkably led the team to Champions League qualification last season.
Motta’s coaching career began in 2018 with the youth team of Paris Saint-Germain, shortly after ending his playing career at the club. He transitioned to Italian football in 2019, taking the helm at Genoa. Subsequently, he managed Spezia and then Bologna, achieving notable success, including the historic Champions League qualification.
