Evander missed a skate this morning for Edmonton.

The Edmonton Oilers could play without Evander Kane for today’s Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final vs. the Florida Panthers, as the veteran forward didn’t appear on the ice this morning.

The new-look 2nd line featured Dylan Holloway, Adam Henrique, and Leon Draisaitl.

Evander (32) has been on the ice all 19 postseason matches for Edmonton, notching 4 goals and providing 4 assists, but hasn’t scored since Game 6 vs. the Vancouver Canucks in the 2nd round. Kane finished with 24 goals and 20 assists over 77 matches for Edmonton this campaign, his 3rd with the Oilers.

In addition to that, it seems like Edmonton is making a tweak to the blueline for the upcoming match.

Defenceman Vincent Desharnais, who hasn’t appeared on the ice since a Game 3 defeat against the Dallas Stars in the West Conference Final on May 27th, was seen training in the morning, and he could play in Game 2.
