Old Trafford could become Snapdragon Arena

The Red Devils’ kit sponsor Snapdragon would be interested in exploring any chance to help fund the team’s new venue by buying naming rights.

The tech company has replaced TeamViewer as Man Utd’s front of shirt sponsor this campaign after agreeing a 3-year contract worth 230 million dollars.

The Red Devils are open to the chance of selling naming rights to their new venue – either a brand new stadium or a redevelopment of Old Trafford — and Snapdragon would love to buy the naming rights if they became available for sale.

“Old Trafford is Old Trafford; it must always be Old Trafford,” Don McGuire, a chief at the company that owns Snapdragon, claimed.

McGuaire, however, added that if in the future there is a brand attached to that name Snapdragon would be interested in that opportunity as they work very closely with the new ownership about that.
