New England Patriots CB Jack Jones was arrested on weapons charges and pleaded not guilty in front of the court in Boston. He paid his bail – of 30,000 dollars, and his next hearing will be on August 18th for probable cause.
Prosecutors told authorities that the staff at the Boston airport found 2 guns and ammunition inside a bag with his name written on it.
The Pats cornerback was charged with 2 counts, and if Jones is found guilty, he could spend time in jail as the minimum sentence is 2 and a half years for one of the counts. The other carries a minimum sentence of a year and a half.
