New England Patriots QB Mac Jones shared that the decision on the organization’s start is not up to him, but he is doing everything possible to be considered for the job by manager Bill Belichick.
“Hope so,” Mac answered today when asked whether he will be starting vs. the NY Giants during the weekend. “That’s my mentality. I always work hard for that; really put a lot of attention and detail during training sessions ahead of the matches.
Q: Are you starting Sunday?

“Things like decision-making are things I can’t control, but what I can do is prove that I’m ready at any moment to do the necessary job. I really appreciate the opportunity to be part of the National Football League and to be playing QB. On Thanksgiving, it’s a moment to be grateful for a lot of things. To play football, the game we love, together, that means everything to me no matter if I’m on the field or on the bench.”
