Jason will work directly with the president of hockey procedures, Kyle Dubas, and help in all hockey procedures within the franchise.
He worked with Dubas last year in the Toronto Maple Leafs as a special advisor after retiring from the NHL after playing for 19 seasons.
“After an amazing career on the ice, Spezza fully immersed himself on the management side of hockey, learning all the crucial stuff in the last campaign with the Maple Leafs,” Kyle shared. “Jason impressed us with his work ethic, curiosity, and ability to communicate with people throughout all departments at the franchise facility.”
