Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino had his press conference ahead of the Premier League derby with Manchester City.
The Argentine manager spoke highly of his upcoming opponent: “For me this is the best team in the world with the best manager. One of the best organizations in the world. When you show the results, top to bottom, they show that they are doing really well. We know it will be difficult. We want to win the three points. Chelsea never feels like an underdog. This is impossible, the history is there. Against Tottenham we showed that we have the talent and character to compete and fight with the best clubs in England.”
The Chelsea manager did not spare his praise for the new addition to the team, Cole Palmer, who came from the Citizens: “He is really smart, he had to adapt quickly. We are currently building the squad and he has shown character and personality to make this move. We are very happy with him, but I think he will improve. It’s a special chance for him to play against his former teammates.”
