Ange Postecoglou has revealed he hasn’t held talk with Cristian Romero after the Argentinian was sent off during the 4-1 loss against Chelsea.
The 25-year-old has missed three games as a consequence and that was his 4th red card in 75 games for Tottenham Hotspur.
Postecoglou, however, doesn’t feel the need to address the defender’s scrupulous disciplinary record.
“I’ve not had to have a word with (him) about discipline. It’s part of who he is as a player, he brings a physicality to it.” he said.
“When he oversteps mark the whole group pays a price so it’s up to him to maintain discipline I know he can show, but more importantly he’s such a strong presence on the field and in during the week, so good to have him back.”
Romero will return for Wednesday clash against West Ham as Spurs seek their first win in 5 games in the league.
