Ange claimed he was the "last man standing" for the Tottenham job.

Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou honestly shared that he never thought his Premier League opportunity would come and that he was the “last man standing” in the summer selection process for the Tottenham managerial position.

Since changing Celtic with Tottenham, the Australian has taken the team to the 2nd place in the league with a very beautiful attacking style of football.

“I never thought I would work in the Premier League, to be honest, not because of what I can achieve, just because no one was looking at me,” the manager shared with the BBC.

“I became late in my career, coaching 1 of the most famous teams in the world – Celtic and 1 of the biggest football sides in the world in Tottenham. It has come late; it just took a president to look beyond the norm.”

Postecoglou also added that he was in a refugee camp but played for Australia after that.
