The Premier League came out with a statement that it is banning Israeli and Palestinian flags in the stadiums as result of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
The war between Israel and Hamas has caused major disturbance throughout the whole world and with this decision the League would like to avoid any possible incidents that might occur.
However, players will wear black armband and minute silence will be held before every match to remember the victims of the war.
Supporters will not be obliged to wear such any of the mentioned marks.
The decision comes after the English FA made the same stance on the national team, during England’s game against Italy at Wembley.
Many players have voiced their concern, most notably Mohamed Salah, who issued a video calling for world leaders to prevent major disaster.
