Rain delays all Wimbledon Tuesday games besides center court

The typical British weather once again proved tricky and messed up with the schedule of sports event.

Wimbledon authorities have announced that play has been abandoned for the day due to the rain and all matches that were interrupted or due to be played today will be moved to Wednesday.

The only exception are the clashes on the center court, as the biggest venue has a retractable roof and it is possible to host matches. 26 ongoing games in total between the man’s and women’s tournament were interrupted.

It looks like Wednesday’s schedule will be very tight, because beside these 26 games, all clashes from the evening part of today’s schedule will also have to be played before the initial Wednesday games.
