The Red Bull team employee who accused Christian Horner of “inappropriate behavior” in early February has been temporarily suspended from her position.
Due to these accusations, Horner underwent an internal investigation, which failed to find any evidence against him. Many questions remained around this investigation, conducted by an independent lawyer hired by the company, especially after the Bahrain Grand Prix.
During the first race weekend of the year, an anonymous source distributed a file to leading figures containing numerous inappropriate messages allegedly sent by Horner to the concerned employee. The authenticity of these messages has not been confirmed, but their rapid spread quickly revived the scandal.
At the beginning of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix weekend, the saga took a new turn with the announcement that the employee in question had been suspended from Red Bull.
