The Italian football giant Juventus is up for sale, reports the daily newspaper Il Giornale on Monday morning. According to the publication, the Exor holding, which owns the shares of the Old Lady, is considering withdrawing from the club.
The company, which is run by the Agnelli family, believes that Juventus no longer brings in the necessary income and is not “financially sustainable”. In recent years, the club has been torn apart by a number of scandals and there are constant legal problems.

For the first time in over 12 years the club will not participate in any European tournament this season, because of the many financial irregularities in their books from the past years.
According to Il Giornale, the price of the club is 1.5 billion euros.
