In a discussion with a media outlet ahead of today’s match vs. title rivals Man. City, the Egypt international, was asked whether the manager’s exit means that he will leave too in the summer. “No. It’s part of life now that people leave one place for another or retire. Footballers have left already; they are very crucial footballers. The head coach is also very important for Liverpool and is leaving.
“One day, I will not be part of Liverpool, but the boss’ departure doesn’t affect my future.”
Saudi Arabians want Liverpool’s superstar to play in their league as Al Ittihad offered 150 million pounds for the forward in the past summer. Still, the Premier League side rejected the proposal.
Mohamed has a deal with the Reds until the summer of 2025. Salah has 205 goals in 334 matches for Liverpool and has triumphed in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and 2 Carabao Cups during his time with the Reds until now.
