The NBA has assigned Scott Foster as match official for the final Game 7 between the Heat and the Celtics.
Tony Brothers will be his assistant, while Foster serves as chief crew. They will be joined by John Goble to round up the whole crew.
The two men are among the most popular referees and sometimes that has backfired. Foster for example was voted in a survey as the worst referee in the league by players, receiving more than 25% of the vote. Brothers, on the other hand, is more versatile as he received votes at both ends.
Interesting fact is that when Foster officiates a match this season, 70,7% of the games go in favor of the home team, which is a career-high. The Last match he was in charge was Game 4 of the series and it was a Celtics win over Miami.
So it’s all to play for in the all-deciding Game 7.
