Jenni Hermoso has not been featured in Spain’s 1st squad since triumphing with the Women’s World Cup, but 15 players of that winning side have been called.
A lot of Spanish footballers have been boycotting the side since Luis Rubiales’s intimate moment with striker Hermoso after August’s final.
The whole incident led to Luis to resigning.
But in the past week, 39 footballers – including 21 of the 23 World Cup gold medalists – shared their strike would continue until they see more things to be changed in the federation.

This was the 1st roster announcement by new manager Montse Tome, who replaced coach Jorge Vilda after Vilda was dismissed at the beginning of September.
“We stand with Hermoso,” the Spain’s new manager claimed.
“We believe that at the moment, the best thing to protect here is to give her a rest, but we are counting on her for the future.”
