Spanish FA to take legal action against Hermoso alleged ‘lies’

The Spanish Football Federation will take legal actions against its player Jenni Hermoso, concerning her comments about president Luis Rubiales.

The two infamously engaged in a kiss after Spain’s triumph at the Women World Cup and that has caused major uproar in the footballing world.

Rubiales was pushed to resign from his position as President, but he has refused to do so and there has emerged a huge feud as a consequence.

Hermoso said that there was no consent, but the Federation has questioned her statement.

“The RFEF and Mr President will demonstrate each of the lies that are spread either by someone on behalf of the player or, if applicable, by the player herself.” it said.

“The RFEF and the President, given the seriousness of the content of the press release from the Futpro union, will initiate the corresponding legal actions.”

The Federation provided four images as prove that Hermoso did apply the force to lift Ribiales’ feet off the ground therefore a consent was given.
