Paul Cotter got home after enjoying for 7 days the triumph at the Stanley Cup in Las Vegas, and the 1st thing that he did was to be back on the ice and participate in the Made in Michigan Elite League at Kensington Valley Ice House.
Paul hadn’t been part of a match since April 8th at Dallas and partied a lot, so he was definitely not a form to play hockey.
“That was a tough experience,” he shared after that. “I’ve been on the ice 2 times since. Both these matches, the stick’s feeling a little heavier now.”
Even as a champion in his 1st full campaign in the NHL, Cotter was happy to join his friends in Brighton’s high-level summer league.
This is the 4th year that the Canton native has played in the Brighton league, which is created to allow the elite players in the area to remain in form during the offseason.
