Marchment broke 3rd period tie to give Dallas the lead.

Mason Marchment notched for the 1st time since the postseason opener, and the Dallas Stars won against the Edmonton Oilers at American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX, to tie the West Conference Final at a match each.

Mason broke a tie almost 4 minutes into the 3rd period and revealed after the victory that his team must play like it’s Game 7. Marchment added that the Stars are so close to advance to the Stanley Cup and he and his teammates must have Game 7 mentality for the rest of the series to eliminate Edmonton.

Dallas captain Jamie Benn finished with a goal and assist when he provided the puck to Esa Lindell, who scored an empty-netter with almost 2 minutes left. Wyatt Johnston finished with 2 assists. Stars goaltender Jake Oettinger made 28 saves.

Connor Brown notched the Oilers goal. Skinner, who had triumphed in the previous 3 matches since being sitting 2 matches in the last round, made 22 saves.
