The NHL off-season is getting deeper and more teams are bolster up their roster, but one player, who is yet to sign a contract is Vladimir Tarasenko.
The 31-year-old changed agent on July 5, but is still unable to find himself a new club.
According to reports, Tarasenko has already rejected couple of offers, ranging from between $5.5m and $6m per season. His representatives are rumored to have contacted those teams again in order to start new negotiations.
On of the biggest issues for Tarasenko is the salary cap, as only 9 teams can afford his requirements of $5.5m per year.
Several of them, such as the Senators, also have RFAs to sign, which will further deplete their remaining cap dollars.
That could force Tarasenko with no option, but to sign a smaller contract, which will not suit his requirements, but it will ensure him playing time.
