Ahead of being featured in his 2nd National Basketball Association Finals tomorrow, Boston leader Jayson Tatum was asked if there’s a different level of pressure competing for an organization that is trying to triumph with a league-record 18th championship.
Jayson shared exactly what he thinks.
“I think you know the answer to that,” Jayson shared during his time with the reporters as part of the NBA’s media day. “Without a doubt.
“We only display championship banners, right? 17 of them. Some of the best basketballers to ever step on the court wore this uniform. We are privileged to follow in their footsteps, the way they allow us to live out our dreams today.
“In the end, yeah, if you want to be 1 of the best players to put on Celtics uniform, every great before you win the title.”
Tatum added that’s what they aim to do every campaign – win the championship at the end.
"You've probably been the most scrutinized player this postseason…"
"You think so?"
