This new contract will be worth a total of $315 million, which averages out to an impressive $63 million per season. The deal is expected to be formalized within the next ten days.

The 26-year-old Tatum has been a standout performer, averaging 26.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game this season. This contract extension not only rewards his loyalty but also reflects his significant contributions to the team’s success in past years.

Currently, Stephen Curry holds the title of the highest-paid player in the league, with an annual salary of nearly $52 million. Kevin Durant follows with $47.649 million per year, while LeBron James and Nikola Jokic are tied for third place, each earning $47.607 million annually.
