Townsend joined Luton in October on a short-term deal until this month after leaving the Toffees. The winger has played 11 matches in the league since landing at Kenilworth Road, netting 1 goal and giving 2 assists.
“Without a doubt, I’m happy – 3 months ago, I thought my career was over,” shared Andros after the news of his newly signed contract. Luton admitted that the new deal would keep the attacker on the team for the “foreseeable future.”
Andros had not played a competitive game since March 2022 while still in Everton before joining the newly promoted side.
Townsend added: “From going begging around the world just for a trial to inking a long-term deal is very special for me.”
