UEFA president, Aleksander Ceferin, criticized once again the struggling Super League clubs, which, at this stage, are only Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus.
“There is no place for cartels in football. The game belongs to no one in particular, but to everyone in general. The interest of most people should be above that of only three clubs”, said the president.

“We must never forget how beautiful football is, how it stirs our emotions, how it keeps hundreds of millions of people on the edge of their seats, how it defines who we are.”#UEFACongress pic.twitter.com/KmFHGGtAO3

“Those promoting the Super League project claim they want to save football. However, the Super League has become a character in the fairy tale of Little Red Riding Hood. This is the wolf disguised as the grandmother. Who are they fooling? No one. They are cartels. For them, money is more important than trophies,” Ceferin added.
