Great Britain and Ireland were selected to host the Euro 2028, with matches to be played in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland.
But it is a concern that the rebuilding Casement Park- a Gaelic football stadium that has been closed since 2013- has prompted the football governing body to visit Belfast and expect what is happening and if the venue will be able to host matches in 4 years.
If the reconstruction is not finished on time, the schedule will change, and 5 matches will be played elsewhere within Great Britain but not in Northern Ireland as they don’t have any other venues for such a big tournament.
Windsor Park, 1 of the most famous stadiums in the country, will not welcome matches at Euro 2028 due to the low number of spectators that can watch the match live.
