Mike’s resignation was not expected, less than 4 seasons after he was appointed from Cincinnati in place of Lynn Swann, who spent 3 years with the school before he also resigned. The official reason is “ongoing health challenges.”
“It’s a tremendous time with USC’s emergence into the Big 10 for new guardianship to move the school forward,” Mike shared.
Bohn was the 1st athletic director in the program in the previous 25 seasons that were not connected in any way with the school.
His biggest achievement was dismissing football coach Clay Helton and convincing Lincoln Riley to join from Oklahoma last season.
