The USA national team struggled as much as possible against Canada, but got the win after 2:2 and penalties in their Gold Cup quarter-finals clash.
The Americans qualified for the semi-finals, but after the penalties, things got hot on both teams’ way into the tunnel. The USA players provoked their opponents and caused a melee in front of the locker rooms.
It is not yet clear whether CONCACAF will take action and punish the players involved in the melee.
