The Conference League final turned ugly when a handful of incidents intervened
Both West Ham and Fiorentina have been charged by UEFA for incidents occurring in the Conference League final, which took place on Wednesday.
The two teams have been fined for throwing objects, while West Ham received additional charges for “field invasion”.
Police reported that 23 men have been arrested in Prague. 22 of those were Fiorentina fans, one was a West Ham supporter.
17 of those 22 Fiorentina supporters were detained after attacking West Ham supporters in a bar in central Prague.
West Ham went on to win a historic match 2-1, but their victory was overshadowed by numerous incidents, which forced the authorities to take action.
