Dylan Larkin has been put on injury reserve list two days after being knocked unconscious during a game against Ottawa.
Larkin stayed on the ground for about a minute after the unpleasant hit, before leaving the pitch with an assistance.

“I think it was a positive that he was able to get up and be helped off the ice rather than on the stretcher,” Red Wings coach Derek Lalonde said.
Lalonde refused to give any further information concerning the details of Larkin’s injury.
“No timeframe on it. … we’ll know more in the next few days,” Lalonde said. “Unfortunate to lose a player of that caliber for an extended period of time.”
The coach revealed he had spoken with Larkin on Sunday and the captain was in good spirits.
