Formula 1 Academy chief Susie Wolff has demanded to know who “misled the public” and prompted a brief probe into the integrity of her and husband Mercedes boss Toto Wolff.
A few days ago, FIA shared it had begun an ethics investigation into a potential conflict of interest between Wolff and Toto.
One Mercedes competitor had raised concerns to the FIA when Toto claimed something in a meeting which, alleged in the publication, he could have only known from someone within the leadership of Formula 1.
“When I read the statement issued by the FIA in the past day, my 1st reaction was: ‘Is that it?'” Susie Wolff wrote on social media.
“For 2 days, insinuations have been made about my integrity in front of the whole world and through background briefings, but nobody from the FIA has reached out to me to discuss it with me face to face.”
