Serious interest towards the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand
Organizers of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, announced they are on course to sell a record-breaking 1.5 million tickets.
Around 650,000 have been sold for the tournament that Australia and New Zealand will host.
“FIFA’s mission is to organzse the biggest and best Women’s World Cup in history this year,” said secretary general Fatma Samoura.
The World Cup starts on July 20 with the final on August 20.
Organizers predict the tournament will attract a global television audience of two billion viewers.
