Outgoing Barcelona, boss Xavi Hernández, claimed his work at the team has never been sufficiently valued and that it will be “impossible” for the next head coach to feel the joy from the position.
🧐🗣️ Xavi's second press talk after the announcement: “At Barça they make you feel every day that you are worthless. I have spoken about it with Guardiola, Valverde and I saw the suffering. The same thing will happen to the coach who comes.”

The current Catalan side manager admitted after the weekend’s 5-3 loss against Villarreal that he will leave the club at the end of the season, despite having a deal for 1 more year.
Barcelona triumphed in La Liga by 10 points last campaign under Xavi, but things have been tough since the beginning of the current season, as the team was eliminated by both the Spanish Supercopa and the Copa del Rey in January while trailing 11 points behind La Liga leader Girona.
“It is a cruel and obnoxious job,” Xavi shared with the media ahead of tomorrow’s league match vs. Osasuna at the Olympic Stadium.
“It makes you feel worthless every single day. Pep Guardiola shared that with me; I saw Luis Enrique suffer.”
