The player shared in a podcast about his struggles, and because of them, he played only 114 regular-campaign matches in 4 seasons. The host asked him about eating healthy food to be in shape.
“It’s not easy,” Zion admitted. “I’m young, have all the money in the world — well, it feels like I can buy anything. It’s a struggle.
“I’m at that point now because of certain things; I’m trying to get wiser each day. I don’t want to say older because they get defensive, but I’m giving people around me wisdom. I need to start from somewhere and improve each day.”
Williamson also added that some of his problems are because he felt like he could do anything when he was young.
“If we get 70 games of Zion Williamson, he is going to be one of the 10 best players in the league.”
