Griffin will return to Milwaukee 13 years later

Milwaukee Bucks‘ search for a new head coach appears to be over, according to ESPN.

Bucks are planning to appoint Adrian Griffin, an assistant at the Toronto Raptors as the team’s new head coach.

Griffin and the Bucks are working towards reaching a final agreement.

After he retired as a player following a 13-year career, Griffin began coaching as an assistant at the Bucks in 2008. He stayed there until 2010 and then worked at Chicago Bulls (2010-2015), Orlando Magic (2015-16), Oklahoma City Thunder (2016-18) and the Raptors until this summer, where he became champion in 2019.
