Indiana is one game away from reaching the second round in the playoffs

Myles Turner scored 29 points, while Tyrese Haliburton added 24, propelling the Indiana Pacers to a convincing 126-113 victory over the undermanned Milwaukee Bucks in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference first-round series held in Indianapolis.

Turner showcased his long-range shooting prowess by sinking seven 3-pointers, contributing significantly to the Pacers’ impressive 51.2 percent shooting from beyond the arc. Overall, Indiana shot 51.7 percent from the field, enabling them to seize a commanding 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.

Despite being listed as questionable due to a nagging back issue just 90 minutes before tipoff, Haliburton delivered a stellar performance, knocking down five 3-pointers to redeem himself from a subpar shooting display in Game 3.

The series will now shift back to Milwaukee for Game 5 on Tuesday, with the Pacers holding the upper hand.

For the Bucks, Brook Lopez led the scoring effort with 27 points and nine rebounds, while Khris Middleton contributed 25 points and 10 rebounds.

Despite the valiant efforts of Malik Beasley, who added 20 points, and the contributions from the Bucks’ supporting cast, including the absence of injured stars Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee found themselves short-handed due to the early ejection of Bobby Portis. Additionally, Lillard aggravated his Achilles injury in Friday’s game, while Antetokounmpo has been sidelined since sustaining a left calf strain on April 9th.
