Giants defeat Cowboys on SNF in coach John Harbaugh’s debut

A few months before coaching his 1^st match for the NY Giants, John Harbaugh told supporters he wanted to build a team that could defeat the Dallas Cowboys.

And he did it in his debut clash.

Jaxson Dart connected with Isaiah Likely for 2 TDs and Devin Singletary on another; Cam Skattebo ran for 1 in his 1st match back from injury, and New York started the campaign by beating the Cowboys 28-20 in Harbaugh’s Big Apple debut. It’s just 1 triumph, but it was a promising beginning of a new era.

“Without a doubt, we are taking steps in the right direction,” claimed the Giants boss.

Dart made 1 smart throw after another, while at the same time mixing in a series of well-timed runs to keep the defense off balance. The QB finished 23 of 29 for 230 yards passing, plus 54 rushing, including a few slides and a dive to avoid being hit like that happened in his rookie campaign.

Dallas hurt themselves with penalties – 8 of them for 85 yards, without even mentioning the early intentional delay of game.
