Kylian Mbappe has spoken about his first impressions of working under Jose Mourinho at Los Blancos after the head coach’s summer arrival at the Bernabeu. The forward has enjoyed a prolific start in the Spanish league in the current campaign, but it is Mourinho’s intelligence that has made the biggest impact on him so far.
Kylian shared his admiration for his new boss, Jose, after his move to the Spanish capital a few months ago, as the French superstar has 4 goals in 4 LaLiga games.
In just a few weeks, the former PSG striker has been struck by the tactical mind of his new manager. Kylian feels that clear guidance from the boss has been central to his strong performances.
“What type of head coach? Very smart! I was impressed by the intelligence of Mourinho,” Kylian shared. “But then, I’m not surprised. He doesn’t become as successful as he has become if you are not.”
Mbappe added that footballers need direction to follow, and that’s what Mourinho provides, and the team has everything to do things well.
