Mbappe scores twice as Real beat Barcelona 2-1 at Camp Nou

Real Madrid secured a crucial triumph 2-1 at Camp Nou against Barcelona and stopped the Catalan side from becoming the 1^st team in LaLiga history to win their opening 10 games of the campaign.

Los Blancos are now only 3 points behind Hansi Flick’s side and also 1 point behind Atletico Madrid.

The only goal in the 1^st half was scored by Kylian Mbappe in the 41^st minute as the French superstar was at the right place at the right time to secure a rebound from Barca’s defender and open the score.

However, Barcelona answered in the second half when Raphinha equalized in the 61^st minute.

When everyone thought that the derby would finish without a winner, Kylian Mbappe shone again as he converted a pass by Eduardo Camavinga after a fantastic counterattack.

Barca also finished their series of 23 straight home victories in LaLiga after Los Blancos’ 1^st triumph at Camp Nou since 2023.
