The New York Giants are cutting Odell Beckham Jr. after the experienced WR failed to make a significant impact over his 1st 3 matches back with the organization.

Odell, a favorite of the fans, was 1 of the last footballers to make the New York’s 53-man squad at the beginning of September after performing well during the practice.

But things look different since the start of the campaign, as the veteran wide receiver struggled to earn consistent playing time and logged only 1 target over his team’s 1st 3 matches.

Odell, who is 33 years old, appeared in only 6 offensive snaps during the past weekend’s 12-7 win against the Titans. The 3-time Pro Bowler is 2nd in the organization’s history in receiving yards.

However, Beckham will not have the chance to climb to the top spot after the Giants release him after he played only 19 snaps in 3 matches and didn’t catch the ball once.

Odell was hoping to resuscitate his career in the league since the 2024 campaign, when the wide receiver caught just 9 passes for 54 yards with the Dolphins.
