Inter Miami decided to fire Phil Neville today as he was in his 3rd campaign with the team that David Beckham owns. The club is currently in last place in the MLS East Conference.

Jason Kreis, an assistant coach, was also dismissed, but the other assist. coach Javier Morales will be the new interim manager.
“I have watched him to his best every day to accomplish the goals that we put for our team,” Beckham shared to the media. “Sometimes we must be tough in football; unfortunately, we feel the time is right to have a new head coach.”
Neville played with Beckham at Manchester United and in the national team. The Miami club hired Phil at the beginning of 2021.
“I’m grateful to have the opportunity to manage Inter Miami and see the team grow.” Phil shared after his dismissal.
