Manchester City and Atlético Madrid have agreed a transfer for forward Julián Álvarez.
The Madrid team is set to pay up to 104 million dollars for Julian. Atletico will pay 75 million dollars now and the other in different add-ons.
That would be the Sky Blues’ record departure and a huge profit on the 14 million pounds the Premier League paid for the forward when he arrived from River Plate at the beginning of 2022.

The Argentinian striker has not yet agreed personal terms with the Spanish side but the expectations are that it would not be a problem.
Álvarez netted 36 goals in 103 matches for the Sky Blues since his arrival in Pep Guardiola’s team helping the team win the treble in 2023 and another EPL trophy in the past campaign but still he is not the 1st-choice for the attack of Man City and that’s why Julian is willing to leave Manchester City.
Despite that, Alvarez didn’t play in only 2 of the Sky Blues’ 38 EPL matches, netting 11 goals during that period, but the Argentinian came from the bench in most of them.
