After being eliminated from the East Conference ½ finals for 3rd straight year, Philadelphia 76ers manager Doc Rivers claimed that he aims to return as head coach of Philly for the next campaign. At the same time, James Harden shared that he doesn’t know yet what he will choose – to remain 1 more year with the 76ers and opt to be a free agent.
“Yeah,” Doc told the journalists after his franchise fell 112-88 to the Celtics in Game 7 of the conference ½ finals at TD Garden. “I think I have 2 years left.”
Rivers, who joined Philadelphia at the end of 2020, improved his team record in the regular season each year, but a lot more was expected from the 76ers this season after Joel Embiid won the MVP award, but again the team will go home early.
“I’ve seen one. It was in this building… it was LeBron.”
