Free agent Kelly Oubre Jr. signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, ESPN reports.
The 27-year-old winger played last season with the Charlotte Hornets, where he averaged 20.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. In his career, Oubre also played for Washington, Phoenix and Golden State.
With the signing of Oubre, Philadelphia will look to end its streak of three straight eliminations in the Eastern Conference semifinals since 2020.

Although deal terms have not yet been revealed, the contract will in all likelihood be for a minimum salary. The 76ers are already above the first luxury tax apron and they would likely prefer to save room in case it is needed for a midseason James Harden trade.
