The New Yorkers looked a refined team in Judge's presence

The New York Yankees defeated the Baltimore Orioles in a commanding fashion 8-3 on Saturday night.

Aaron Judge was once again the center of attention as he hit a homer and registered 3 hits in his 2nd game since coming off the injured list.

Ryan Mountcastle homered for the Orioles, but Clarke Schmidt  made it through five tough innings and the New York bullpen took off from there.

Despite the loss Baltimore remain atop of the AL East, 1 1/1 games ahead of Tampa Bay.

Judge hit a two-run shot — 442 feet to center field — in the third. Gleyber Torres added a sacrifice fly an inning later to increase New York’s lead

Santander made it 4-3 with an RBI groundout in the fifth, but the Yankees soon started to run away with the match in the sixth. Cole Irvin allowed a leadoff homer by Higashioka — his third hit of the night — and then one-out singles to Judge, Stanton and Anthony Rizzo.
