Deborah added that the NBA legend was “deeply appreciative” of the L.A. Fire Department, which treated him immediately, and the professionals who work at UCLA Hospital, who are doing everything possible for him to feel great and taking great care of Abdul-Jabbar.
A Hall of Famer who triumphed with NBA trophies with the Milwaukee Bucks and LA Lakers, Kareem is the NBA’s only 6-time MVP and was the league’s career scoring leader until LeBron James broke his record at the beginning of the year.
