The Portuguese winger was subbed off against Lazio on Saturday after just 10 minutes of play after feeling strain in his right adductor and additional tests confirmed the bad news. Leao is fundamental for Milan’s season so far and thus won’t be risked against Inter this week.
Most probably he will be left out for the away game against Spezia in Serie A on Saturday in order to be ready for the second leg in the Champions League on May 16.
