Italian media Corriere dello Sport claims on its Saturday first page that AC Milan is working on signing Manchester City’s midfielder Ilkay Gundogan on a free transfer this summer.
The German international is set to be a free agent after the end of the season as he wasn’t able to secure a new deal at Etihad, in the search of a new adventure and Milan might be it.

The Rossoneri are looking to improve their squad after a trophyless season, reaching Champions League’s semi-finals and finishing in top 4 of Serie A.
Gundogan was heavily linked with Barcelona move, but the Spanish side financial difficulties may change his direction towards Italy.
