Adam Silver, the National Basketball League commissioner, talked about expansion in the near future in Seattle and Las Vegas.
He said that expansion is necessary before the beginning of the 2nd match from the NBA Finals in Denver.
“I think it makes sense over time. … There’s no doubt there are a lot of great cities we’re interested in having in the NBA.”

“We don’t have anything certain today, but I think it will be the right decision sooner than later,” Adam claimed via NBA TV. “If you’re a successful franchise that continues to develop, there’s no doubt many cities would be very happy to have an NBA team.”
The commissioner added that nothing will happen before a new collective bargaining agreement is secured. The consultations about media rights will most likely happen next year during the spring.
