The African champions finished fourth last year

Al Ahly secured the bronze medals at the Club World Cup held in Saudi Arabia after defeating Japan’s Urawa Reds 4-2 in the third-place playoff.

In Jeddah, the champions of Asia and Africa delivered an entertaining match, ultimately securing a third-place finish for the Egyptian giants who had finished fourth in the competition last year.
