Steven Gerrard is thinking about a proposal to become the new manager of the Saudi Arabian team Al Ettifaq.
“Al-Ettifaq offered the job to Liverpool’s legend. He welcomed the idea but asked for time to review the deal,” the source shared.
Gerrard (43) coached for the last time in Premier League as manager of Aston Villa but was sacked last October after the club was very close to the relegation zone. After he left, Unai Emery became the Villains’ head coach, and the club progressed dramatically and will play in the European tournaments in the upcoming campaign.
His best achievement as head coach was the title with Rangers in Scotland in 2020-21.
